As I was reading that, I had 'Duck and cover!' playing in my head.
This was brilliant on several levels.
this was fabulous, but i can't help but wonder what Flikker did in the past when her wings had molted, since they molt every 2 years. it seems like something she'd have gotten the hang of.
unless fairies age differently and she's only 2 years old…
